My assignment

Name: Catherine Wilson Malcolm (Kate or Katherine Sheppard) yes she wasn’t always called Kate Sheppard

What she did: Kate Sheppard was the main leader for the revolt of woman winning the right to vote in parliament elections since Kate Sheppard and all the other women won. She influenced other countries to do the same but Britain and U.S.A did it after WW1 probably because they lost all their men in the war. Here’s a cool fact since then in New Zealand 2/3 of the people elected for parliament in NZ have been women our prime minister Helen Clark is a woman cool aye. All this gave Kate Sheppard honour of being on the ten dollar note.
